Step -By- Step Guide on How to Get Your License

 

1.)   Complete Drivers Ed. Online/ Live.

  - learn all of CA rules and law of the road plus defensive techinques for those who dont obey Ca safety laws

 

 

2.)   Take your drivers ed certificate of completion to DMV and take your permit test 

      What you'll need for you DMV permit test

     1.) Your Cerificate of completion of drivers ed

     2.) DL44 Application- this form is at the DMV

     3.)Original birth certifcate/ Cert. copy

     4.)Know your social security #

     5.)$31.00 DMV fee

     6.) 2 forms of mail- providing proof of your address

     Written & visual test will be taken    

3.) Once you've passed your permit test it'sNOT VAILD UNTIL YOU DO YOUR FIRST DT LESSON
        - Contact your local driving school to schedule a lesson to begin driving
        -After your first lesson, your licensed DMV instructor will sign off your        

           permit which will allow you to  drive with your parent or anyone over the 

           age of 25 with a vaild CA license.

         -You must hold your permit for 6 months and complete 6hrs behing-the-

           wheel training with a license driving school and an additional 50 hrs with a

           parent/guardian inorder to take your DMV road test

 

 

 

4. Schedule your DMV road test... Pass your DMV road test.... Be licensed that day
